Direct from Nashville, and born and raised in Illinois, Kevin Fogarty will present Out of Place is Where I Belong: The Music and Lyrics of Kevin Fogarty, a compilation of songs from his full length musicals, song cycles, and various songs he just felt like writing.
Kevin Fogarty is a contemporary musical theatre composer and lyricist, a recognized country songwriter, and an experienced drummer. He was a finalist for the 2011 John Wallowitch Award and selected composer for the New Voices at CUA Music Festival. In 2009, his musical Call Me Home received a workshop production at Montgomery Bell Academy and was selected for the 2011 Manhattan Repertory Theatre Summerfest. His song cycle The 5 Year Plan premiered in Nashville, TN in 2011. www.kevinfogartymusic.com

J. Oconer Navarro is the recipient of the American Theatre Wing Jonathan Larson Grant, a Frederick Loewe Foundation Grant, the Margo Lion Award, the Paulette Goddard Award, and more. Works: Awakening (with Joel B. New), Detroit City Limits, Onward (with Katie Kring), Reception, and an adaptation of a recently published novel (with Joel B. New and Jennifer Stafford). He is an award-winning Music Director, most notably known for acclaimed Adding Machine Off-Broadway, and has worked regionally at houses across the country, including The Kennedy Center. He has dozens of B’way/NY Music Department credits, and is currently on Faculty at NYU’s Department of Drama.
