NYTB presents a "BARN-tastic Christmas Spectacular"
Each
month NYTB at the Duplex provides an audience and an outlet for
new artists to explore and create, as well as gain feedback and
support. NYTB at the Duplex is an arena that showcases
up-and-coming songwriters and performers, and also merges new artists
with highly-established writers and performers in the industry. We
occasionally offer selections from our current projects as well as
others we are in the process of developing. While the event lives in a
cabaret atmosphere, expectations and ambitions are high. The evening
is a fusion of cabaret, musical theatre and popular music and is
ultimately a celebration of the artists involved. In addition, the
event is designed to work as a networking tool between the artists
involved and the artists who attend the event. It is New York Theatre
Barn’s continued mission to serve new artists and to support, develop
and advance their work.

B.R.A.T.T. CAMP
No, these Brats are not the dolls. Anything but...This
hilarious and moving contemporary musical follows five troubled teens
sent to a wilderness boot camp. Will they remain the burdened,
reckless, angry, troubled teens that they are or will they conquer
their demons in time to go home for Christmas?

Save Me
Beth, a born again Christian, comes to New York to save her estranged
sister from a brain tumor, but ends up saving her daughter and
herself. Save Me delivers its miracles in odd packages: a bright red
wig, a postcard from the edge, a superhero sex–addict, and a bouquet
of flowers from a woman without a nose.
